France eased to a comfortable 35-22 victory over Italy as they made it two wins from two in this year’s Guinness Six Nations.
Les Bleus were in control in Paris as they picked up a bonus-point win which leaves them top of the Six Nations table heading into the Championship’s first break.
The French ran in five tries, with Baptiste Serin arguably notching the pick of the bunch with a stunning effort.
It didn’t take long for France to take control against an Italy side which had been beaten 42-0 by Wales last week.
They took the lead through Teddy Thomas’ early try and were 23-10 ahead at the interval.
Italy worked hard throughout and came back into the game as France dropped off the pace in the second period but were unable to reel in their opponents.
