The Investec Champions Cup Final will welcome a full crowd to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 25 May as all available General Admission tickets have now been sold.
Following a blockbuster semi-finals weekend which saw over 115,000 fans pack into Dublin’s Croke Park and Le Stadium in Toulouse, the last remaining General Admission tickets were snapped up by fans eager to witness what promises to be an historic showdown between two giants of European club rugby.
Leinster Rugby shone in front of an 82,300-capacity crowd at Croke Park with 20-17 victory over Northampton Saints.
The attendance at the iconic Dublin venue is a new record for an EPCR fixture, and is the biggest crowd for a rugby union match this season eclipsing even the Rugby World Cup Final.
Stade Toulousain secured their coveted spot at Tottenham with a 38-26 win over Harlequins at a sold-out Le Stadium. While Leinster and Stade Toulousain have 16 Finals appearances and nine titles between them, the clubs have never yet met in a Champions Cup decider.
Ticket sales for the EPCR Challenge Cup also surged last Sunday as Gloucester and Hollywoodbets Sharks fans booked their places to cheer on their respective clubs.
Limited tickets remain available for the EPCR Challenge Cup Final on Friday 24 May. Gloucester Rugby will be chasing their third Challenge Cup title, which will see them become equal record title holders alongside Harlequins and ASM Clermont Auvergne.
Meanwhile the Hollywoodbets Sharks have become the first South African club to reach an EPCR Final after a 32-31 semi-final win over ASM Clermont Auvergne at a rowdy Twickenham Stoop.
