The Welsh Rugby Union would like to pay tribute to Dr Jeremy Williams, emergency consultant at Glangwili Hospital in Carmarthen, who unfortunately died recently after a long battle with illness.
He was a very popular and much respected Doctor who was a very popular character.
Dr Williams was part of the WRU match day medical team for the past 7/8 years as immediate care lead for significant player injuries. He was a very skilled clinician who had a great love of Welsh rugby and was clearly proud to serve the WRU on match days in Cardiff.
He will be sorely missed by all and we would like to send our thoughts and best wishes to his family.​
