Guinness Six Nations Player of the Match Romain Ntamack insists France are not thinking about winning the Grand Slam despite securing a third successive victory.
Fabien Galthié’s side remain unbeaten in this year’s Championship after beating Wales 27-23 in a thrilling encounter at Principality Stadium.
It was France’s first win in Cardiff since 2010 – the same year Les Bleus last won the Grand Slam.
But when asked whether the squad were dreaming of achieving that feat once again, Ntamack said: “No, we are not thinking about that.
“We play match by match.â€
France led 17-9 at half-time thanks to tries from Anthony Bouthier and Paul Willemse with Dan Biggar scoring all of Wales’ first-half points.
The hosts got to within one point when Dillon Lewis went over and Biggar added the extras but Ntamack then struck with the decisive try when intercepting Nick Tompkins’ pass and sprinting home.

The fly-half’s 62nd minute penalty was his fifth successful kick as France moved further ahead before Biggar crossed late on.
“It is amazing,†said Ntamack on the away triumph.
“We were hungry for a big game like that.
“It was very tough and commiserations to the Wales team as it was a big match today.
“We have no experience, but we play with a smile and it was a good experience to win.â€
