Following the very regrettable postponement of the France v Ireland match last Saturday which left thousands of supporters disappointed and frustrated, the Six Nations Council has announced that the postponed RBS 6 Nations match between France and Ireland will now take place on Sunday 4thMarch at 4pm French local time (3pm GMT) in the Stade de France.
The Six Nations Council also confirm that French & Irish ticket holders unable to attend the match will receive a full refund of their match ticket. Final details of the refund mechanism should be available tomorrow.
The RBS 6 Nations Championship format dictates that a match postponed in weeks one or two of the competition will be rescheduled to take place in either week three or, as in this case, week five of the tournament.
